Overview:
Provide expert clinical and technical support during electrophysiology (EP) procedures by assisting physicians and lab staff in the effective use of mapping systems and catheter technologies. Deliver high-level product education, case support, and in-service training within an assigned region to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical and clinical support during live EP procedures.
- Educate medical staff on product use and procedural best practices through hands-on training and in-services.
- Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to identify opportunities and support account growth.
- Plan and manage daily case coverage and scheduling to maximize support efficiency.
- Maintain ongoing communication with local and cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital administrators.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, clinical guidelines, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Support new team members through mentoring when required.
- Complete administrative tasks including documentation, compliance, and expense reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, regulatory, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical or technical experience in a hospital or patient care environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 40%, including overnight and short-notice travel.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology, ablation, and imaging technologies.
- Comfortable in surgical/lab settings and capable of wearing protective gear (e.g., lead aprons).
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work variable hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in EP/Cath lab or cardiovascular medical device industry.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CEPS, RCES, RCIS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills under pressure.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and team oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to interpret clinical/technical data effectively.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
- English language proficiency (written and spoken).
- Flexible with working hours and capable of providing emergency support when required.
