Clinical Account Specialist (CAS)

Locations:  Delhi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad

(Cath-lab, Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Sales & Marketing, Training Specialist, MDA Coordination, Faculty Arrangement, Workshop Setup, Healthcare Marketing, Surgeon Engagement, Medical Training, Sales Collaboration.)

Overview:

You will provide expert technical and product advice/assistance as well as training to physicians, EP lab staff, technicians and administrators regarding all aspects of Company systems and catheter equipment in a manner of utmost professionalism.

Responsibilities of a CAS –

  • The main duty is to provide support during electrophysiology interventions at hospital for the use of Company Products and other Company mapping and ablation technologies.
  • Seek sales opportunities and drive business objectives within the defined territory and accounts.
  • Achievement of predefined business goals.
  • Assist customers and use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Create awareness of Company solutions and facilitate information channel between accounts and the key decision-makers to drive Company business.
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue with multiple business partners and then formulate possible solutions accordingly.
  • Responsible for improving customer case support capability through efficient planning and scheduling techniques, driving collaboration, and maintaining consistent, open lines of communication with all team members both internal/external.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, to develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP lab, including, but not limited to physicians, nurses, technicians as well as hospital administrators and staff.
  • Remain current on company products instructions for use (IFU), methodologies, technical troubleshooting and relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
  • Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-pressured, stressful environment, maintain composure and focus whilst problem solving in stressful situations.
  • Share knowledge & Train new Company team members
  • Responding daily to requests via email & telephone from customers, physicians as well as other internal and external partners.
  • Manage business process for assigned territory as daily procedure reporting, Stakeholder mapping, Channel Management, AR Collection, conference participation etc.
  • Administrative work such as Customer Relationship Management systems, managing account documentation, complaints, following Safety and Environmental practices, compliance training, expense reporting, company system input and maintaining Safe Fleet standards according to Company guidelines.
  • Ensuring personal and company compliance with all local and company regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred Educational Qualification and Experience Background:

  • A minimum of an Engineering Bachelor’s Degree preferably Bio- Technical/ Bio- Engineer/ Bio- Medical
  • 1-4 years of experience within the medical device field (Cath lab / cardiology preferred) or
  • Previous experience of EP (Electrophysiology)/ Cath Lab or EP (Electrophysiology)/ Cardiovascular Device Industry experience and exposure is beneficial.
  • Experience having introduced new technology on the market by working with key opinion leaders is also advantageous.
  • Experience working with highly complex technical systems and/or working in a critical patient care setting.
  • Effective and timely communicator with co-workers and all levels of patient care team.
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and can be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Problem solver who can think critically in high pressure environments.
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and collaborates and works well in team environment.
  • Able to take large amounts of data and translate information into actionable insights
  • Hunger for learning and building new skills.
