Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented sales professional to drive business development and sales growth within the Life Sciences segment. The role involves managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, providing technical consultation, and promoting contamination control and cleanroom solutions to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and research organizations across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve territory business targets within the Life Sciences segment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, and healthcare customers.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and consultative selling.
- Manage and grow key accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction and recurring business.
- Provide technical support, product training, SOP guidance, and application-based recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with regional sales and cross-functional teams to support customer projects and business expansion.
- Maintain accurate customer data, sales pipeline, and project updates through CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business planning.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback updates for management review.
- Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, laboratory solutions, or Life Sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of cleanroom environments, contamination control, or regulated industries preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer engagement and business development activities.
